Navigation and Piloting - Limited

Navigation and Piloting will be presented by Dave Riley, USCG Captain, US Sailing Certified Keel Boat, Bareboat and Cruising Instructor.  U.S. Naval Academy Senior Skipper, D-Qual. This 6-hour seminar is hands-on training utilizing charts, plotting tools, government publications and workbook exercises. Upon completion students will be able to plot a course, create a work log, plot their position using various types of fixes, and calculate time, speed and distance. This seminar is open to all DSC Cruising Members with the Cruising Skipper or Crew level upgrade, and is designed primarily for these members who intend to go on the Delmarva Circumnavigation.  Class is limited to 20 students.
