Newbie Cruise to Kent Island

Discover DSC Cruising!

Leave the DSC Saturday morning and sail alongside our DSC Cruising boat to Kent Island.  Dock and spend the night at the well-appointed Bay Bridge Marina, complete with pool, Tiki Bar and outdoor grills.  Have a swim and enjoy a good meal at the famous Hemingway's waterfront restaurant and take in live music.  Enjoy breakfast Sunday morning and maybe a morning swim before departing.  Lunch on both days will be on the boat, so please bring your own lunch and beverages

Open to any novice cruisers. You do not need to be a member of the DSC's cruising program.  All expenses (slip fees, fuel etc.) will be shared equally by everyone.

If you're driving to the DSC, please print out this OVERNIGHT PARKING PASS and display on your dash.

You will have access to hot showers and restaurants. Bring your towel, pillow, bed sheets or sleeping bag and sunscreen. Your skipper will contact you regarding preparations and arrangements. 

Skippers must file a FLOAT PLAN with the DSC office and a friend.
