Join the Downtown Sailing Center Staff, Board of Directors, volunteers, members, and program partners for our Annual General Meeting(AGM).
The AGM will kick off with a pot-luck style social which will include a key note address from staff and board members. Please register indicating what you are able to bring to the pot-luck to help us prepare.
Following the social step into any one of five break-out sessions. The sessions will be concurrently running so you will only be able to attend three during the evening. The sessions will be held on the following topics:
Mission/Vision/Values - The Downtown Sailing Center
Volunteerism - How to engage with the volunteer programs at the Downtown Sailing Center
Program - Recreational, Educational, Community Outreach and Accessible Sailing programs of the Downtown Sailing Center
Membership Matters - A panel discussion on membership at the Downtown Sailing Center
Fleet and Facility - A panel discussion on the state of the fleet and facility of the Downtown Sailing Center
Each session will have key note speakers and will be held three times during the night.
The schedule for the AGM is as follows:
4:00 P.M. - 4:30 P.M. : Potluck Social
4:30 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. : Key note address by staff and board.
5:10 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. : First break out session
6:10 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. : Second break out session
7:10 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. : Third and final break out session
Please attend the break out sessions in any order you chose, but understand the sessions will be limited to 30 participants each.
