Mid-Summer Work Party

  • Have experience replacing cam cleats? Help the DSC complete the necessary replacements on our cam cleats.
  • our boats are starting to get grimy: help the FSR team to clean the topsides
  • review all boats to replace ring-dings that are missing or have become lose.

The Downtown Sailing Center has had a busy season! Our entire fleet has been used and sailed actively since April. Now is the time to complete our mid-summer safety and hardware check.


When boats get used things start to loosen up and eventually ring-dings need replacing, tape needs to be re-applied and halyards need to be replaced.


Come out on Monday night July 21st and help us complete our mid-summer repairs. DINNER WILL BE PROVIDED!


Stop by anytime between 5:30PM and 8:00PM to help out and hangout on the docks.
