Accessible Event League for People with Disabilities: Volunteers Needed

Registration is closed
The Downtown Sailing Center will the League for People with Disabilities at the sailing center from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. The program is very similar to our Access-Ability Saturday event and we need volunteers. Specifically we will need:


2-3 sailing buddies

1-2 transfer aids

3 riggers and de-riggers.

We ask that volunteers arrive at 4:00PM to help with rigging the boats.

It will be a great opportunity for volunteers to experience one of our accessible programs in a relaxed atmosphere. Since the program has a smaller group of participants it allows for the volunteers to learn the ins and outs while helping an amazing group of people learn to sail.

Interested Participants: This is a private event seek out the League for registration information.
