     CPR /  operation of  AED - automated external defibrillation machine /  First Aid

·      Get ready for the best sailing season ever and learn how to help save a life !

 

Class:

Heartsaver First Aid with CPR & AED meets OSHA and US Sailing requirements. 

 

The course teaches basic first Aid, CPR, and AED skills such as:


-Helping someone with a possible broken bone or sprain
-Giving CPR to an infant, child, or an adult
-Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

-Classroom based with instructor / video and skills stations

 

Content:

-Adult first aid (first aid basics, medical emergencies and injury emergencies)
- Adult/Child CPR with mask
- Adult/Child AED

Certification:

The American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid With CPR & AED

Course Completion Card is valid for two years.
