  • Expect to be working overhead from a squatting/kneeling/or sitting position. We will provide dust suits and safety gear, but expect to get dirty!

Spring Work Party

The time has come to start prepping the fleet 2022 Season. No experience is necessary.  We will provide all needed supplies and tools.  Just bring a positive attitude, and wear something that you don't mind if it gets dirty.

The main focus for this volunteer event will be checking the rigging, hardware, and sails on the DSC Dayfleet Vessels.  Tasks include:

  • Check and tape all pins and ring-dings
  • Swap the winter sails for the in-season sails
  • Check and inventory all hardware and safety-equipment
  • Swab the decks - literally!

We may also perform other tasks around the docks and finish prep for any boats that remain on the hard, as needed.
