Amazing progress has been made on the fleet towards our end of a safer, faster, more enjoyable fleet.  We have all sacrificed.  We have sacrificed time, money, and time on the water.  Racing is within reach, just need a final push the finish line!

There will be a work party tomorrow.  Racing will begin next week.  The first series may be a little weird because of its truncated nature and that the first couple of races may require a boat change for a couple of skippers.  We are working to get all the J's assigned to race skippers on line ASAP, however it is likely that all of them won't quite be ready for that first gun.  We'll know tomorrow which boats are going to be ready and which aren't.  Even if Jammin' is ready I am volunteering to skipper a Sonar.   If there are frustrated J skippers who don't want to use a J, but their assigned race boat isn't ready yet, they can sail Jammin'.  I am looking for series 1 race skippers who are willing to be flexible to contact me and let me know.  I am really hoping to find 3-4 more skippers (and hopefully everyone) who is willing to be flexible through this last little hiccup on the way to a fully operational fleet so that we don't have to force boat swaps on people.

IF YOU ARE THE SERIES ONE SKIPPER FOR YOUR BOAT PLEASE LET ME KNOW, ONE WAY OR THE OTHER.

Work Party:

1)  Boat Washing - Seriously needs to get done.  People needed 10.  This project needs a Leader.  Josh, can you lead this task?
2)  Bottom Scrubbing - Seriously needs to get done.  People needed 6-10.  This project needs a Leader.  Tark, I think you'd be good for this job.
3)  Mast Repairs - Project Leader Bill Caruth.  This is a small task force.  Bill will picking his people tomorrow.
4)  Rudder Repairs - Project leader Jared Ackers.  Rich and Gareth will be assisting with coordinating reassembling rudders and getting them back on boats.  People needed 6.
5)  Traveler Car Work Shop - Project Leader Todd Jenner.  There are a lot of sticky cars out there, and that's no way to sail.  Todd will be helping you whip your traveler into shape.  People needed 6-8.
6)  Sails for Sonars - We will be finding decent sails and putting them on boats.
