DSC September Monthly Social~A Caribbean Feast!
As the fall approaches, we’re trying to extend the days of summer! This Saturday, September 8, 2012, 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, will be our annual, "Caribbean Party." With the J/22s and Sonars in reserve for members to use from 4:00 PM until Sunset, you're invited to don your best "Island Garb", hop aboard a boat and sail until the feast is prepared by our capable Social Committee barbecue masters.
At 6:00 PM, we'll savour perfectly prepared jerk chicken on the grill and bowls of rum punch! A quote from last year's event: "Best chicken I have ever had in my life..." Members are encouraged to bring a potluck appetizer, side dish, main dish, or dessert that is Island inspired. Also, any 'tropical' beverages are welcome!
