March Speaker Series

Our featured speaker for March is Alice Volpitta, the Baltimore Harbor Waterkeeper. She directs Blue Water Baltimore’s water quality monitoring program, which tests water health at 49 locations. Her areas of expertise include water quality monitoring, data management, and enforcement, and she has spent hundreds of hours patrolling and surveying Baltimore’s streams, rivers, and harbor.

Alice will be speaking to us about the water quality where we sail, the factors that go into water health, and current work being done by Blue Water Baltimore to strive towards a fishable, swimmable harbor.

The talk will kick off at 7pm - arrive early to place your beverage order! Charm City Meadworks has a delicious selection of meads, made with locally sourced honey, natural spices, botanicals, hard work, and a little magic.
