Volunteer Registration - 2023 Ya Gotta Regatta

Registration

• A) Registration - Morning (8:00AM - 11:00AM)
  Help set up the registration table. Check in Sailors and Volunteers as they arrive. Sell DSC merch as needed.
• B) J/22 Mark Boat Operator (8AM - 4:00PM)
  Experience driving a power boat is required, and setting a One Design race course prefered.
  
  Operator MUST have BOAT US Safe Boater certificate.
• C) J/22 Race Committee Crew (8AM - 4:00PM)
  Assist with hoisting and lowering the flags, keeping score, and dropping and hauling marks. Experience running races and racing sailboats is strongly recommended.
• D) PHRF Race Committee Crew (9:00AM - 4:00PM)
  Assist the PHRF PRO in starting and scoring the PHRF Pursuit Race.
• E) Accessible Sailing Greeter/Escort (10:00am - 12:00pm)
  Check in Accessible sailors, provide them with a PFD, and escort them to the assigned area or boat. Help clean up and break down the registration table
• F) Hansa Access Dinghy Rigger (10:00am - 3:00pm)
  Rig and De-rig the Access Dinghies. You may also assist in helping sailors to enter/exit the boats.
• G) Accessible Classes Chase Boat Operator (10:00am - 3:00pm)
  Experience driving a power boat is required. Operate the chase boat for the Access Dinghy or Sonar/Freedom courses. You may provide instruction/coaching to sailors as needed.
  
  Operator MUST have BOAT US Safe Boater certificate.
• H) Accessible Race Committee Crew (10:00am - 3:00pm)
  Assist the PROs and chase boat operators in running the races for the Access Dinghies or Freedom/Sonar races. Start the races and score boats as they finish. You may also provide instruction/coaching to sailors as needed.
• I) Sonar Coach (10:00am - 3:00pm)
  Support the Accessible regatta! You will be coaching up to 3 participants on a DSC Sonar.
• J) Sonar Crew - 10:00am - 3:00pm
  Support the Accessible regatta! Assist the coach/skipper as needed in providing sailing instruction and boat handling.
• K) Hoyer Lift operator/assistant. (10:00am - 3:00pm)
  Training on our manual Hoyer lift is required to fill this role.
• L) B Dock Party Set Up Crew - Morning (8:00AM-10:00AM)
• M) B Dock Party Clean Up Crew - Evening(3:30PM-4:00PM)
