Session 4: Junior Camp: Keelboat

Base fee:
  • This program is for participants with at least 4 weeks of sailing experience at the DSC.
  • Participants will learn to sail and enjoy fun and games using our keelboat fleet. Perquisites: none; but the DSC recommends participants take the access dinghy course first.

This program has been developed as a great way for past dinghy participants and beginner sailors to enhance their knowledge of sailing on our keelboats!  

Participants will head out on their first day to learn the basics of keelboat sailing. Participants will also engage in numerous off the water activities from group games to sailing focused projects.

Advanced Sailing Option!  (ages 11-16) This program will be more specifically designed towards teaching beginner sailors how to become intermediate to advance sailors. It will focus on more thorough on the water drills with our highest level of instructors. 

Each day begins at 9 AM and ends at 4 PM, with extended day programs available (with additional costs) from 8:15-9 AM and 4-5 PM.


*Final decision on the participant's level will be decided by the head instructor.
