New Member Orientation and Mixer

Are you new to the DSC this year? Join us for a fun orientation and mixer!

The staff will provide an orientation to the Downtown Sailing Center, including the following topics:

• Who we are - Introduction to the organization and the staff
• Member Opportunities - how to get out sailing!
• Overview of the different events and how they work
• Volunteering Opportunities and how to get involved
• Sailing vocabulary and sailing overview for beginners
• Safety Information
• How to stay informed about upcoming events

Whether you are new to the sport of sailing or just new to sailing at the Downtown Sailing Center, this event will help you get acclimated, learn about the community, and feel empowered to start attending events! You’ll also get to meet some of the staff and other new members.

Come at 6pm for a bit of socializing, and the staff will deliver the orientation starting at 6:30pm. Plan to stick around after to continue the conversation!

This event will be indoors in the Liberty Room. You’ll receive an email on the day of the event with instructions on how to enter the building.
