Lollipop Kids Foundation is back!

The Lollipop Kids Foundation is focused on supporting families who have children with disabilities. And they love to sail at the Downtown Sailing Center.

The Downtown Sailing Center will have the Lollipop Kids at the sailing center from 5:30PM-8:00PM. The program is very similar to our Access-Ability Saturday event and we need volunteers. Specifically we will need 2-3 sailing buddies, 1-2 transfer aids, and 3 riggers and de-riggers. We ask that volunteers arrive at 4:30PM to help with rigging the boats.

It will be a great opportunity for volunteers to experience one of our accessible programs in a relaxed atmosphere. Since the program has a smaller group of participants it allows for the volunteers to learn the ins and outs while helping an amazing group of people learn to sail.
